The Las Vegas Aces got a dominant 100-65 win over the New York Liberty with NBA stars Lebron James, Russell Westbrook and Chris Paul sitting front row.
The Aces got off to a hot start starting the game outscoring the Liberty 13-2 in the first three minutes of the game going into the second quarter up by 20.
The second quarter was more of the same as Las Vegas outscored New York by 15 going into halftime up by 35 which would be the ultimate margin of victory as both teams scored evenly in the second half. The win for the Aces is the largest margin of victory by a team this season.
The Liberty struggled shooting 32% from the field in the game going 22/68 and going 3/21 from 3-point range. By comparison the Aces shot 54% from the field going 33/61 and shot 5/14 from 3-point range. They were also dominated on the boards as they were outrebounded 46-21 in the game.
The Aces had four players score in double figures: Kelsey Plum (19), Kayla McBride (18), Liz Cambage (17) and A’ja Wilson (14).
The win for the Aces improved their record to 3-3 while the Liberty drop to 2-5.
