Joe Johnson Dominating the Big3

Joe Johnson is in his first season in the Big3 league and to say he has played well is an understatement. As part of the Triplets, Joe Johnson has led his team to a 4-0 record making them the only undefeated team left in the Big3.

In his four games with the Triplets, he is averaging a league best 22.5 points per game and 4.5 assists per game and is second in rebounds with 9.8 per game.

Last week was possibly Joe Johnson’s best performance leading his team from a 25-14 first half deficit scoring 26 of his team’s last 37 points in a win over Bivouac.

He followed that performance up by becoming one of two players to make the coveted four-point shot to win the game against Tri-State finishing with 17 points, seven rebounds and four assists.

Joe Johnson is making his early case to win the third Big3 MVP award and for his Triplets team to win the third annual Big3 championship.

Joe Johnson is a 16-year NBA veteran who last played in the 2017-2018 NBA season for the Utah Jazz and the Houston Rockets. With his tremendous play in the Big3 there is a chance he could catch the eye of an NBA team looking for instant offense off the bench.
